Custodyne is opening to a small group of MSPs ahead of general release. Join the beta and you become a Founding Partner. The beta itself is free. When billing begins, your first three months are free and the following nine are half price — half the monthly subscription, and half on every certificate above your allowance. On Pro that is three months at nothing, then $99.50 a month, with certificates above the allowance at 25¢ rather than 50¢. Solo runs $24.50 a month for those nine months.
And a seat at the table. Founding Partners receive first consideration for the Custodyne Advisory Board, which steers what gets built. A sitting board member keeps the 50% discount for as long as they serve. The two do not compound — a Founding Partner who joins the board stays at half price.
Drives and devices both count — and that is the point
A machine you take in produces two certificates: a Certificate of Destruction for the drive, and a Certificate of Device Disposal for the machine itself. Both draw on your allowance, and the allowances are sized so that documenting the whole machine costs you nothing extra. Recording less should never save you money.
Your allowance is measured over a rolling twelve months rather than a calendar year, so a busy month does not cost you the rest of the year.
50¢ a certificate, capped every month
Beyond your included volume, certificates are 50¢ each (25¢ for Founding Partners) — and the amount is capped each month at $25 on Solo, $50 on Starter, $100 on Pro and $200 on Enterprise. A one-off migration or an unusually heavy month cannot produce a surprise.
Nothing ever stops working. There is no cut-off, no queue and no watermark, whatever your volume. A drive you cannot document is a gap in the chain of custody, and that is the one outcome this product exists to prevent.
Every certificate is stored securely and stays independently verifiable for seven years — a record you paid for holds even if your subscription later changes.
Anyone holding a certificate can check it, at no cost, for ever. The people verifying are your customers, not ours.
